hi caroline!! quick question. i want to tone up and lose fat.. and i know to gain muscle you need a surplus, but to lose fat a deficit. how should i do this? do i lose the fat first, THEN build muscle, or vice versa? or can both be done simultaneously?

How many times a week do you workout (and are you doing only lifting or also something like running??) and how many rest days do you have? ooh you got the booty haha I want too !!
I only lift and do HIIT usually 5 days a week, with one day of steady state cardio and one complete rest day! Sometimes I take two rest days though!

It was Dum Diddly by the Black Eyed Peas! I listen to pandora when I work out and I love the “Animals” station :)
